Q: Do I have to provide insurance to my employees?
A: If you have less than 50 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees, you are not required to provide health insurance. Generally, if you have 50 or more FTE employees, you may be subject to the Employer Shared Responsibility Payment, meaning you must offer affordable health coverage that provides a minimum level of coverage to full-time employees and their dependents.
